Smart classrooms of Sadra Girls' Primary School are always a space for creativity to fly. 🚀 Today, in computer class, we hosted energetic 5th graders who were ready to learn a future-making skill: programming with Scratch. A colorful environment where mathematical logic is combined with the art of storytelling. 🧠
The topic of today's lesson was the beautiful connection between technology and culture: creating exclusive games with the theme of Yalda night! 🍉 This activity was designed in line with the scientific-technological field so that students are not just consumers of technology, but also its creators and programmers. The goal was to discover their hidden interests in coding. 💡
Under the masterful leadership of Mrs. Siyar, the fifth grade girls got to know the basic concepts of Scratch step by step; From defining characters (Sprites) to making Yalda backgrounds (Backgrounds). They learned how to animate their pomegranate and watermelon characters and define the rules of the game using conditional codes and loops. 🧩
The moments when the students managed to perform their first script were full of excitement! 🎉 Seeing their code become an interactive game with Yalda elements greatly increased their confidence in dealing with complex technical concepts. These projects turned learning from a simple assignment into a personal adventure. 🤩
This activity does not only mean learning a software; Rather, it is strengthening algorithmic thinking, problem solving and organizing thoughts. 🧐 Every line of code that was written required high precision and patience; Skills that will be effective in all stages of their future life.
