The creative second graders of Sadra Elementary School in Region 5 discovered the world of programming with Scratch Junior with Ms. Siyar. The goal is to flourish the scientific and technological talents of children in a happy environment. 🤖

We salute the energetic and promising second graders of Sadra Elementary School! 👋 Today we are going to talk about an exciting adventure; Adventure in the magical world of coding with Scratch Junior! This lesson was held in the small and loving classes of Mrs. Sayar and its purpose was a powerful start for the flourishing of talents in the scientific and technological field. 🌟

ScratchJr is a wonderful tool that allows children to create interactive stories and games using picture blocks. Imagine, second-schoolers are no longer just consumers of games, but creators and designers of coded stories themselves! 🎮 This is the discovery of interest and flourishing of creativity that we were looking for.

With a friendly and childlike tone, Mrs. Siyar translated the colorful blocks of the code into the sweet language of children. The training process was very step by step; From moving a simple character to making a short animation. Excitement was the first word in the class; The kids carefully moved the mouse (or tablet) to make sure their code did exactly what they had in mind. 😄

The children's feelings were indescribable! Each time a script (sequence of code) was executed successfully, cheers and laughter filled the classroom. These small successes greatly increase their confidence to solve more complex problems in the future. They learned that making mistakes is part of the learning process and that the best results can be achieved through trial and error. ✅

These activities plant the initial seeds of algorithmic thinking in children's minds. This fundamental skill will help them not only in computer science, but in solving any problem in everyday life, from cooking to planning a trip. With Scratch Junior, we teach our kids to be forward thinking. 💡

These technological trainings are followed in Sadra Primary School and Region 5 to make sure that the scientific and technological foundations of our children are properly established. These classes showed that the second year of elementary school is the best time to introduce complex programming concepts in a childlike and attractive way. 🥇

We are extremely grateful to Mrs. Siyar, who is kind and hardworking, who provided this creative platform. The look full of hope and curiosity of these latter energizes all our work.
