This short report gives us a pleasant news about the joint activity of the fifth grade in the art class. We usually do activities like candle making in the lower grades, but doing it with the fifth graders revealed new aspects of learning:

A higher level of precision and finesse: Students at this age have a greater ability to understand the intricacies of working with materials (such as temperature control and fine detailing). This took their crafting skills to a more advanced level. 🤏
Organized Creativity: While creativity in the lower grades may be quite free-flowing, fifth graders can organize their creativity within a production process. The candles made were not only beautiful, but also represented the planning to produce a final product. 🌟
Sustained focus: Making a beautiful candle requires time and continuous focus; A skill that should be strengthened at this age. 🧠
Imagine a space full of colors, scents and soft light, where each child has made their wishes into a candle with their little hands. This is the successful combination that we are looking for in Sadra Primary School (Region 5); Integrating art to strengthen cognitive and motor skills. 🌈
